Professional Drivers´Accident Characteristic

The diploma thesis discusses characteristics of accidents of professional lorry drivers in relations to their personalities, work, health and mental conditions. The thesis is composed of three sections: theoretical, analytical, and a section on recommendations. Theoretical section introduces theory of the given line of work and presents both outer and inner influences in this respect. Theoretical section is followed by the analytical section, with both quantitative and qualitative research discussing the most common accidents of professional lorry drivers. Based on the first two sections of the thesis, innovative solutions have been offered in the last section, with the aim of contributing to lowering the number of traffic accidents of drivers maneuvering vehicles over 7.5 tons. In order to gather necessary information, analysis of literature has been conducted, with statistical measures introduced in the thesis and structured interviews and polls having been done also. This has provided results towards arguing the knowledge on the given issue so far and has additionally allowed for innovative solutions leading to elimination of traffic accidents caused by professional lorry drivers.

The main content of this thesis is analysis and proposal of supplying between storages in company Hella Autotechnik Nova in Mohelnice. The main content of creation of this company is wide sort of front headlamps, rear and break lights, but also there is some sort of its washers for the most famous cars brands. Otherwise this thesis is about modification of basic layout, what can be seen there nowadays between external storage Meriva and logistic centre, what is located in main building of this company.
Internal communication and its use in opening the dialog between the employees and the company

This bachelor thesis deals with the internal communication and its use for opening a dialogue between a company and its employees. The practical part of the thesis contains a case study of the company DAUCZECH s.r.o.in the period 2016-2018. Firstly, the author seeks to answer questions of whether it is worth to invest time and resources in internal communication concerning small and medium-sized enterprises. Secondly, he asks whether well-established communication channels can solve intra-company communication problems. The thesis consists of two parts. The first section is devoted to the theory of internal communication, the term "urge to change", and the issue of establishing a dialogue; the last subchapter deals with the definition of internal communication information channels. In the second section, the author applies the theoretical findings to the real company environment. Throughout this part, several kinds of research take place. The thesis presents the latest research findings in the field of internal communication. Thus it proves that the internal communication of the instrument that can, when properly used, can improve processes inside a company. Part of the thesis is also a proposition of a strategy for improvement of company communication for DAUCZECH s.r.o.

International truck transport in terms of rights

The aim of the thesis is the analysis of the legislation of international truck transport. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the appropriate interpretation of problems of an international truck transport. These problems are discussed in the technical literature and in the relevant legislation. The sources for the theoretical part of the thesis are primarily the legislation relating to the road transport, the different conventions and contracts and literature that deals with international truck transport. The second, practical, part of the thesis includes the comparison of international and domestic truck transport. In the practical part I did an interview with the owner of a transport company. Based on the interview I processed an internal directive. And this internal directive is about the compliance with safety breaks, driving time, rest periods and other duties of truck drivers.
International Truck Transport

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of international truck transport (ITT). The work describes the international road institutions and the valid legislation. The aim of this work is to describe the activities, structure and benefits of the various international organizations engaged in road transport and, in the context of realization of the specific truck transport, to point out the possible problems that may occur within the ITT. The biggest of these problems are definitely the observance of mandatory breaks, correct recording of breaks and other work and the safety of vehicles and drivers.

Comparison of road and rail freight transport according to selected criteria

The final thesis is comparison of transport of goods by rail freight and road transport. In the begininng of the thesis are information about transportation including basic notions. Historical development in Czech Republic follows. After short descrtiption of development of transport, partical ways of transportation are detailed elaborated. Important part of this thesis is describrion of combined transportation. Combined transport terminals are explained in detail. Chapter of this thesis is about innovating ways of transhipment in transport terminals, not only in Czech republic but also abroad. Another charter is dedicated to comparison of economy, ecology and charging of rail freight and road transport. Model situation with equation three routes were processed. On those mentioned routes is applicated rail freight separately, trucks separately and combination of both previous routes.
Truck Transport in Monopolistic Competition

In the theoretical part of the thesis, emphasis is placed on the definition of the concept of competition and the various market structures with a focus on monopolistic competition, which is part of the sector of road freight transport. It's followed by the concept of transport according to the nature of transport pathways with a focus on efficiency for the different types of transport. The area of transport it is complicated to obtain the franchised business, in particular financial and professional competence. In the framework of the theoretical part of the thesis, emphasis is placed on the concept of the cost that is used for processing your own part of the work. Own part of the work focuses on definition of costs, which translate into a price per kilometer travelled. This is in particular on fuel costs representing the most significant item of the direct costs. Follow payroll costs, including contributions and travel allowances. Also it's followed by direct depreciation and other direct costs, which include road tax, insurance, repairs and maintenance, other direct costs and toll. Subsequently, it is attributed to the amount of manufacturing overhead representing the most significant cost item and calculated profit. The result is the cost per kilometer excluding VAT. Part of the thesis is to assess the cost situation of the firm along with the recommendation for a business in the field of road freight transport.
Analysis of a biofuel use in a truck transport in a selected company

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the comparison between the utilization of biodiesel and diesel as fuel in truck transportation. The thesis contains a theoretical part, which describes primarily the current state of truck transportation in the Czech Republic. It further inquires into current and historic politics of biofuel support, including its impact on state budget. Also described are the most used biofuels, specifically biodiesel, whose comparison with diesel is the main subject of the thesis. The Czech market with biofuels is also discussed. The practical part includes a description of a specific transport company, particularly its vehicle fleet. The results of measurements of biodiesel consumption are further summarized, alongside with the expenses associated with repairs and maintenance of the fuel systems of trucks. This data is analyzed using the tools of mathematical statistics, and the results are evaluated in the thesis.
